arcade1up|Massive weapon cache discovered in east Afghanistan

KABULarcade1up, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Afghan counter-terrorist police have discovered a massive weapon cache containing a variety of weapons in east Afghanistan's Paktia province, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said on Sundayarcade1up.

The contraband, which included 10 pieces of AK-47, 10 hand grenades, 20 cartridges and more than 2,000 shotgun shells, has been discovered in operations in Ahmad Abad district recently, the ministry said in a statement posted on its X account.

Police will not allow anyone to keep military equipment illegally, the statement said.■
